about rebecca

An artist from infancy, I create with whatever I can get my hands on. Popsicle sticks, clay, watercolors, paper, pizza boxes – nothing is safe. I attended craft camp, learned to sew, created graphic designs in Paint, and made school projects that were a little… extra. My early creative drive brought me to an arts high school where I hopped from clarinet to photography to ceramics (with a brief stint in the percussion section, which was the BEST).

Ultimately, I went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Three Dimensional Forum at the University of Washington, focusing my efforts on ceramics and mixed media. Materials were sourced from neighbors, thrift shops, hardware stores, and your friendly corner craft store. Once again, nothing was safe.

A brief detour to the design department introduced me to the world of digital production, leading to more than 10 years of graphic design and illustration (and counting) for both business and fun. In my role as a non-profit professional I wear the hat of designer and marketer, and in my role as wife, mother, and best friend, I have made countless t-shirts, drink koozies, Christmas cards, party swag, stationary, and more.
